Personal profile
Personal profile
I’m a PhD-student in history at the Faculty of History and Social Sciences of the University of the Faroe Islands.
Research interests
The interaction between humans and everything around us in a historical perspective.
In my PhD-project I examine knowledges regarding fish stocks and overfishing in the Faroe Islands in the period approximately 1950-1980ies Furthermore, I look into whether the knowledges were translated to policies, e.g. regulations. I find inspiration from the traditions of environmental history and the history of knowledge.
