Personal profile

As a human ecologist I am broadly interested in the study of human-environmental relations in different cultural contexts. My research has focused on long-term environmental change and sustainability, local knowledge and resource governance, social metabolism and environmental justice.


I have been teaching and supervising at university level since 2008 in a number of fields and subjects including Environmental Sociology, Environmental History, Environmental Justice, Sustainability Science, Methodology and Philosophy of Science, GIS Methods and more
