Personal profile

Personal profile

I am an Assistant Professor in Mathematics Education and research leader at the Faculty of Education. I completed my PhD at Aarhus University 2018-2021 in the field of digital technologies in mathematics education, focusing mainly on lower secondary school mathematics education. I joined the University of The Faroe Islands in 2021.

Research Interests

My main research interests involve digital technologies in mathematics education, mathematical competencies and design research. I have also engaged in the areas of preservice teacher education, mathematical knowledge for teaching, mathematics teacher competencies, networking of theories and digital representations of mathematical objects. Additionally, in PISA related work, I have focused on mathematical literacy and curriculum studies.

Teaching
