Personal profile

Bergur Djurhuus Hansen is Dean and Associate Professor of Literature at the Faculty of Language and Literature (Føroyamálsdeildin). He started teaching Literary Analysis and Method as a part time teacher in 2007 and was made Assistant Professor in 2012. He was Prorector for Education and Quality 2020-2022.

Courses on BA-level in literary anlysis and method and in literary history. Different reserach-based courses on MA-level in travel literature, modernist poetry and ecocriticism. Supervision of BA- and MA-thesis in literature.
